Frequently Asked Questions

About & Event

  • What is included with the space?

    • Round Tables, white indoor chairs, metal trash can frames, wifi. We also have toilet paper, basic cleaning equipment and ladder. More info here.

  • Is smoking allowed?

    • Outside only in designated areas.

  • What if I need less time?

    • All time frames always include your set up and clean up time so book the hours needed with that in mind - the time you want to walk in the door to the time you want to walk out of the door. We do not offer special pricing for events shorter than 10 hours.

  • Can I drop off items the day before or before the time the door opens?

    • We do not take any earlier drop off items under any circumstances. We suggest adding additional hours for $300 per hour.

  • What if I exceed time booked?

    • If you exceed your booked time, you will be charged $400 per hour.

  • What do I need to bring?

    • Extension cords, trash bags (30 gallon+ heavy duty/ultra strong), table linens, paper towels, dishware/cups/plates, wall putty or painters tape (to hang items from the wall), way finding signs to help guests find the venue, speakers.

  • What is your alcohol policy?

    • You must use our preferred bartending companies if you will be serving alcohol however you can bring in your own alcohol. We have a strict 21 and up policy. All attendees must be 21 years of age or older and minors must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian. My event could be cancelled if I am not 21 and up. Our bartending vendors have a minimum of $1,000,000 in insurance and are TABC certified. If you do not use our vendors, you forfeit your entire security deposit.

  • Can I move the furniture?

    • Yes, we just ask you return all the furniture back to where you originally found them. Be careful when moving the furniture to avoid any damage charges. No furniture can be taken out of the building and brought outside.

  • How many guests does Serenity Rose Farmhouse hold?

    • 120+ guests for the farmhouse and 200+ guests for the ballroom. Onsite accommodations in four cabins and country homes for up to 125 guests.

  • Do I need to set up?

    • Yes.

End of Event & Cleaning

  • What do I need to do before the end of my event?

    • You're expected to return the house to the exact way and state you found it in. This includes a general clean, wiping down, vacuuming, taking out the trash. Trash taken to to large trash bins outside, trash bags tied tightly, no loose trash. Floors swept, vacuumed (no glitter, items stuck to the floor, trash), counters and tables wiped clean, cigarette butts picked up from outside patio, walkways. Remove all decorations. Turn off A/C and lights. Please report any problems right away. All doors locked. This is how we can continue to keep our prices low.

    • Need help cleaning? Add after event cleaning for $300 per venue per cleaning prior to your event.

  • What cleaning equipment are onsite?

    • Broom, mop, basic cleaning supplies

Cancellation

  • The 50% payment and add-ons are non-refundable. An event is considered booked when Serenity Rose has received the deposit (that is 50% of the rental amount) and we have marked your invoice as Reserved. You are not booked until your invoice has been marked Reserved by Serenity Rose. The half-down deposit will be applied to the total balance. The remaining balance must be paid on or before 30 days prior to the rental date. Should the event be canceled or postponed, the half-down amount paid is non-refundable, no exceptions. If a rental is canceled at least 30 days prior to the rental date, the half-down amount, and any additional amount paid, can be applied toward another event with Serenity Rose or anything paid over the half-down deposit can be refunded. Cancellations/transfers must be used no later than 6 (six) months after the original scheduled rental date. We allow one date transfer per rental. There is a $100 transfer fee that is due at the time of cancellation/transfer. This amount will be charged to a card on file. Transferred rentals are subject to current pricing (we don't freeze your original rental amount). If a rental is canceled less than 30 days prior to the rental date, the entire amount paid is non-refundable, and any additional amount owed will be charged to a card on file. Serenity Rose has the right to send your balance owed to collections for non-payment. Serenity Rose does not provide refunds for situations beyond our control such as but not limited to: weather etc.
